Cardinals Will Give Lady Rams Opportunity to Show Improvement

Tomorrow night Glenwood will host Clarinda for a match up where both teams are 1-7 in the conference. Clarinda will come to town with a record of 3-11. Like Glenwood, the Cardinals are a young team. The top three scorers for Clarinda are Juniors and a Sophomore. Back on January third the Cardinals defeated the Lady Rams by one point. Sophomore Aliyah St. Romain as the leading scorer for Clarinda. St. Romain scored sixteen of the forty eight points. Sophomore Taylor Wedemeyer and Junior Maddie Hartley also played well for the Cardinals. Wedemeyer scored eleven points while Hartley scored ten points and grabbed thirteen rebounds. For Glenwood, Brielle Smith had the best game against the Cardinals. Smith scored fourteen points, six rebounds and had three steals. Danielle Hardcastle and Nikki Schuppan scored twelve and nine for Glenwood. Both teams are young and this will give Glenwood a chance to show their improvement from their January third match up.
