Dean, Rams Run Well at Drake Relays

This weekend the boys and girls track teams competed at the Drake Relays. Molly Dean was the highest finishing Ram on the weekend. Dean finished 4th place in the 400 hurdles with a time of 63.22. Molly's time broke the school record which she had set earlier in the season. Molly Dean also ran the 100 hurdles. She finished 16th out of 32 with a time of 15.72. Linnaea Konfrst competed in both the shot put and discus. Konfrst would finish 8th in the shot put and 11th in the discus. 

The relay team of Miranda Ruth, Kaycee Clark, Myranda Starner, and Molly Dean finished 20th out of 80 teams with a time of 50.97. This time in the 4x100 was their season best. The shuttle hurdle team of Miranda Ruth, Olivia Scarborough, Katelyn Wilwerding, and Molly Dean finished 8th place with a time of 1:07.49. There was 16 teams that competed in the shuttle hurdle relay.

The boys 4x100 team of Reagan McFarlin, Blaine Clark, Nate Nebel, and Mavrick Decker took 40th with a time of 44.30. The 4x400 team of Nate Kennedy, Jaron Springer, Caleb Peterson, and Carter Von Essen finished 21st with a time of 3:27.72.
