Glenwood Advances After Defeating Undefeated Storm Lake

Kevin Tucker's picture

Tonight the Glenwood Rams traveled to Storm Lake and took on the undefeated #4 ranked Tornadoes. Right from the start Glenwood controlled the game and defeated Storm Lake 44-22 in the first round of the playoffs. The Rams scored 14 points in the first quarter to take the lead 14-0 after the first quarter. The Rams would go on to score 16 in the second, 7 in the third, and 7 in the fourth. The deciding play in the fourth quarter was a pick six by Senior Corner back Mavrick Decker. Glenwood had 440 yards to Storm Lake's 195. The Rams made big plays when they needed them and the offensive line once again created great holes. I would also like to give credit to the defense because they played a great game and stopped a great offense in Storm Lake.

The Rams advance to the Final Eight in the state and will face Carroll, Iowa next Friday.

You can watch all my interviews from the Ram victory down below.
