Coach Joyner’s Recap as Rams defeat the Cardinals:
The Rams beat the Clarinda Cardinals on a blustery day at the Clarinda Country Club by a score of 157-184. Ryan Leath carded an excellent +4, 37 to win medalist honors and Colton Book carded out Pierce Harrington to earn runner-up with matching 39s.
Man, I don't know if I'm more sunburnt or wind burnt. Those were some tough conditions and we pushed through and put up some pretty good scores. The wind was extreme all day and it took a while to get adjusted. Back at it tomorrow at the Atlantic Tourney.
