Last weekend Glenwood had two swimmers qualify for the 2018 IHSAA State Swimming Meet.
Junior Mason Parks qualified for the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.93. Park has the 14th best qualifying time out of the twenty-four entrees. Mason Parks also qualified for the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 48.2. Park qualified the 11th fastest time in the 100 yard freestyle. Mason also joined Zach Shudak, Jackson Allmon and Bryce Griffin to qualify for the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:19.19.
Kameron Alexander also qualified for the IHSAA State Swimming Meet. Alexander along with Zach Shudak, Jackson Allmon and Brice Griffin qualified for the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:42.70.
The IHSAA State Swimming Meet will be on February 10th. The meet will be located at the University of Iowa’s Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
