A complete team effort was the reason the boys finished first place at the Hawkeye 10 Championship. The Rams won the tournament with 24 total points. Harlan finished second place with 20 and Lewis Central finished third with 18. Senior Aaron Bertini and Sophomore Adam Konfrst were crowned H-10 Champs in the number one doubles bracket. The doubles team defeated teams from Red Oak, Atlantic, and Denison to win their title. Seniors Ethan Thompson and Sean Harper stepped up big for their team by finishing third place in the number two doubles bracket. Junior Alex Chekal played a great tournament to finish second in the number two singles bracket. Alex lost in the third set to Reed Miller from St. Albert. Junior Sam Lauritsen picked up two wins in the number one singles bracket to help the Rams secure the H-10 title and Lauritsen finished 6th.

The Rams conference title is just the second in school history and they will now play at Shenandoah for districts tomorrow. Keep it up boys, GO RAMS!
