The Glenwood Girls Basketball team dropped their season opener last Tuesday against Thomas Jefferson. The Lady Rams shot just 38% from the field en route to a 48-64 loss to the Yellow Jackets at home. Despite the loss, the underclassmen shined for Glenwood on opening night. Sophomore Elle Scarborough nearly posted a triple-double with 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while freshman Madison Camden made 5 of 12 shots on the night, dropping a total of 13 points in her high school debut.
The Glenwood girls will look to bounce back from the loss when they take on Abraham Lincoln at home this Tuesday night.
