Kuxhausen 7th at Drake Relays, 4 x 100 22nd.

Brad Kuxhausen would not set a personal best throw in the discus on Friday, but he would reach one of the highest points in his discus throwing career by finishing as the seventh best high school boy discus thrower in the State of Iowa in all four classes.  Kuxhausen could not match his qualifying throw of 169'9", but would manage to throw his personal best throw at Drake Stadium with a toss of 157'7,  one foot and four inches behind Tyler Crouse of Pekin, and just out of earning a Drake Relays medal.

The Rams 4 x 100 relay team of Andrew Nebelsick, Stuart Miller, Taylor Jameson and Michael Dallas would cap the day off with a season's best time of 44. 29.  The Rams relay team finished third in their heat, just :00.01 behind Ames High.  Overall, the  sprint group would finish 22nd out of 80 schools.

The Rams will be back in action Monday April 30 at the Atlantic Co-Ed.
