The Rams traveled to Clarinda last night to take on the Cardinals.  They started the game out a little rocky but came back in the second half to claim the victory in overtime!  The officiating was very tight with 50 fouls being called!  The Cardinals had nine points from the line in the first half putting the Rams behind 10 – 15.  The girls played great defense in the third quarter holding the Cardinals to only 5 points and scoring 10 themselves.  The score at the end of the fourth quarter was tied 31 – 31 forcing them into overtime.  The Rams dominated overtime outscoring the Cards 5 – 1.  Sara G. had 3 of the 5 points and Jana K. added in 2 free throws.    The final score was 36 – 32.  Jana K. led the Rams with 14 points and Halie D. had 9.  Hayley M. added in 5 and both Sara G. and Jordyn H. had 4 points.

The B team kept the winning streak alive by claiming their sixth victory of the season 6-5.  The girls will continue their season on Thursday at home taking on the Lewis Central Titans.  Come out and cheer them on!
