Time for our mid-year congrats list. 

1. Boys Middle School CC - potential 6th year in a row to be undefeated!  So much for naysayers that say we don't have good athletes in our town.  It certainly isn't true. This program is consistently one of the best programs in Southwest Iowa in any sport. Coach Pev has these guys believing in themselves and the results prove it.  James Fuller and his buddies simply dominate the competition.  

2. Boys Varsity and JV CC - Just like the MS boys, these guys are tearing up courses led by Johnny Fuller who continues to smash school and meet records.  Watch for Coach Pev to get these guys to peek and be a real threat at the state meet.  

3. Freshmen Volleyball - So far these girls are undefeated in the Hawkeye 10!  I don't ever recall a volleyball team in high school doing that this deep into the season.  They have already beaten LC, Harlan, Kuemper, Denison, and Red Oak who are generally the powers in the H10 VB standings.  

4. Middle School VB - Both the 7th and 8th grade girls are dominating their opponents.  7th grade lost their first match to Kirn but thats a 4a program.  Glenwood is building a monster with the 7,8, and 9th grades crushing everyone in their way.  Just wait till they get to the high school and mix with a strong Sophomore class. Watch out!
