Girls Track Runs Away with Lady Ram Relays

The lady Rams hosted the Ram Relays last night. The girls dominated the track meet by scoring 178 points in their win. Second place was Abraham Lincoln with 113 team points.

We need to do a good job taking care of bodies and staying healthy as we go down the home stretch of the season. It is important that we don't get complacent, but stay hungry to get better and follow the process that it takes to maximize our potential.

Boys Soccer Defeats Harlan

Last night at the Creighton Bluejays' soccer field the Rams defeated the Harlan Cyclones 1-0. Kaleb Gammon scored the only goal on the night. Josh Radcliff gave the assist. Senior Connor Weis had another shut out and have 5 saves in goal.

Girls Soccer Defeats Harlan

Last night the girls soccer team faced the Harlan Cyclones at Creighton's soccer field. The girls defeated Harlan 4-0. The Rams had 15 shots on goal and Rileigh Spahn had a shut out in goal.

Boys Golf Finishes Third at Shenandoah Tournament

Today the boys golf team traveled to Shenandoah for their first tournament of the year. The boys finished third place with a team score of 317. The score is 34 strokes better than the team's score last season. Kobe Rhodes finished fifth place, Ryan Leath finished 6th, and Colton finished 15th.

Girls golf played Atlantic tonight at home. The girls were defeated by the Trojans 178-229. Hannah Phillips recorded her personal best score a 52! Congrats Hannah on a great score. Keep it up ladies!

Boys Tennis Picks Up Fourth Win vs. Atlantic

Tonight the Glenwood boys tennis team faced off against the Atlantic Trojans. The Rams won the match 6-3. In singles Glenwood won 4-2 and in doubles they won 2-1. The Rams are now 4-0 and 30-6 in total games played. Keep up the good work boys. Go Rams!

Boys Tennis Stays Undefeated Defeats the Titans

A tough road match for the boys tennis team as they faced Lewis Central on the road last night. The Rams picked up four singles wins and two doubles wins to secure the victory 6-3 over Lewis Central. Both Adam Konfrst and Ethan Thompson won their singles 8-1. Alex Chekal continued to dominate the number two singles by beating Colton Lear 8-3. Aaron Bertini had a closer battle with Blake Elam but in the end Aaron closed out Elam 8-5. The best win on the night for Glenwood went to the number one doubles team of Juniors Sam Lauritsen and Alex Chekal.

Ram Soccer Shuts Out the Titans

Last night the Rams hosted Lewis Central in a soccer match. Glenwood's defense and goalie Connor Weis had their second shut out on the season by winning 3-0. Ben Frazee scored the first goal for the Rams in the 30th minute. Two goals in the second half helped clinch the win for the Rams. Conrad Millar scored one in the 74th minute and Kaleb Gammon scored the other in the 75th minute. Congrats boys! Keep it up and GO RAMS!

Mustangs Just Edge Out Rams at Mustang Relays

Last night the Ram Track team traveled to Shenandoah for a track meet. The boys scored 137 total points but it was just shy of first place. The Rams placed second behind Shenandoah who scored 140.5 points. In third place was Clarinda with 90 points. Glenwood's speedster Carter Von Essen ran great as he won the 400m and was a member of the winning 4x400 team. The Rams also won 4x800 and the 1600 DMR on the night. Nate Serrano had a great toss which helped him win the shot put while Caleb Peterson picked up first place in the 400m hurdles.

Boys Golf Starts Off the Season with a Win

"Glenwood Boy's Golf team traveled to Fox Run Golf Course in Council Bluffs to take on the Lewis Central Titans. The Rams Varsity won the match 170-187 over the Titan Varsity. The Rams JV be the Titan JV 180-184. Medalist was Senior Kobe Rhodes with a 3 over 38 and the Runner-Up was Freshman Ryan Leath with a 42. Reagan McFarlin, Nick Stavas, and Colton Book all had 45 and Kris Yakes rounded out the varsity score with a 46. Eli Bales paced the JV squad with a 40."
