Konfrst Looks to Add to Historic Tennis Career

Kevin Tucker's picture

Rewind to spring of 2015. As the head coach for Glenwood Boys Tennis, I was introduced to a freshman named Adam Konfrst who was interested in playing tennis for the first time. I could tell early on that Konfrst had the drive and attitude that was built for tennis. From a athlete with no tennis experience to now what many can say is the most decorated tennis athlete to come through Glenwood; no goal is set too high for Glenwood’s Konfrst.

The Trophy is in Town Thanks to Ram Basketball

Kevin Tucker's picture

For the first time in Glenwood’s history the state basketball trophy has found a resting place at Glenwood High School’s trophy case. Glenwood was by far one of the most impressive teams that stepped in Wells Fargo a week ago.The Rams defeated three teams that each had a potential division one player on their team. On their way to the state title Glenwood defeated #5 Norwalk 67-58, #1 Cedar Rapids Xavier 69-63 and #3 Oskaloosa 66-62. Glenwood’s crowd was praised all week long for their following in Des Moines.
