The A team dominated the Cyclones in 3 sets:  25-12, 25-8, & 15-12.  Kennedy J, Lauren R, Brynlee A, and Abby H took care of things on the service line.  Brynlee A also did a great job passing and ended the night with 5 hits.  Abby H also ended with 5 kills.  Kennedy J had an amazing 7 hits.  

The B team continued the winning streak winning all three 25-23, 25-12, and 15-3.  Lauren C did a fantastic job serving 19 for 19.  Kamryn C had a lot of great passes and Harbour B finished with 3 kills.

JV Volleyball Finished Second at Abraham Lincoln Invite

The JV Volleyball team traveled to Council Bluffs on Saturday for the Abraham Lincoln Volleyball Tournament. The girls finished second at the tournament. The Rams defeated A.L 2-0, Treynor 2-0, and Exira 2-0. Glenwood's only loss was against St. Albert 0-2. Coach Katie Wilson and the JV Rams are now 22-2 on the season. Congrats girls and keep up the good work.

Last night the Glenwood Rams defeated the Creston Panthers in straight sets. Paige Hays lead the team in kills with seven while Katelyn Malcom was great on serves going 23/23. Seniors Kenna Strong and Tara Maxwell served well on senior night both going 8/9 from the service line.

Congrats ladies on a great win on senior night! GO RAMS!

Coach Ohm's Recap vs. Lewis Central

The 7th graders played Lewis Central last night and beat them in 8 of 9 sets.  The A team started off each set down but fought back to win 25-18, 25-17, & 15-12.  This win was a total team effort.  

The B team continued the domination winning 25-15, 25-12, & 15-12.  Improvements in served helped push the Rams past the Titans.  

The C team lost a very close first set, 24-26.  Then came back and won 25-18 & 15-8.  The C team also had many girls contribute to the win.  

Coach Howard's Recap vs. Lewis Central

The 8th grade volleyball girls caught Lewis Central by surprise last night when the Rams went on a “rampage”.  The girls cleaned up the loss they suffered last time they played and went on to a victory!  The A team won with scores of: 25-18, 25-17, and 15-10.  The victory truly was a team victory as the girls showed excellent teamwork.  In all three games, only 3 serves were missed leaving a serving percentage of 96%. Jozie K. came up big on the night with 22 of 22 serves, Grace B. had 10 of 10 and Kelly E. had 8 of 8.  The girls had a total of 108 hits with Elle S.

Rams Drop Two in the Triangular

Last night the Ram Volleyball team hosted St. Albert and Harlan in a Triangular. The first game the Rams took on the Harlan Cyclones. Harlan defeated Glenwood 3-1. Sierra Stouder lead the team in kills with nine while Tara Maxwell was a close second with eight. Cera Gray and Sierra Stouder were great serving the ball as they went 16/16 and 15/15.

Volleyball Pairings Are Out

Today the Class 4A-Region 2 pairings came out and the Rams will face Harlan in Glenwood. Wednesday October 19th Glenwood will host Harlan in the first round of regional volleyball play. The match will start at 7:00PM. The winner of the match will face Lewis Central at L.C. on Tuesday October 25th at 7:00 pm.

The Rams will face Harlan tonight at 5:00PM. Come out and see a preview of what will be the first round of regional play.
